Each year the Miss LSU-USA Pageant Committee selects young men to serve as escorts for the Miss LSU-USA Pageant contestants during the evening wear portion of the pageant.

These young men are chosen for their involvement and leadership at LSU.

Chase August

Major: Kinesiology

Hometown: Lafayette, Louisiana

Campus Involvement: President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Nu Psi Chapter, Mister Imani 2015, LSU Ambassadors, LSU S.T.R.I.P.E.S Program, LSU EMPOWER Retreat Facilitator, Spring Orientation Leader, 2016 Leadership Class of LSU

Hobbies/Interests: Working Out, Modeling, Singing, Acting, Volunteering in the Greater Baton Rouge Community

Fun Fact: He was featured in the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show with Beyonce and he has published research with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health

 

Zach Faircloth

“Miss LSU is one of my favorite LSU events of the year. I love getting to meet some of the amazing women from the LSU community. I’m always blown away at how brave these ladies are for competing in front of the huge crowd.”

David Maldonado
