VividDream-17

Savannah is a freshman majoring in kinesiology and is pre-med. She is from Houston, Texas and is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Savannah grew up competing in rodeos across the state of Texas in events such as barrel racing and roping. She also loves being an aunt to her 2 year old nephew, who was born on her 17th birthday.

She enjoys Cross Fit, swimming, riding horses, and spending time with her friends and family.

Savannah wanted to participate in the Miss LSU-USA Pageant in order to get more involved in the LSU campus community. She wanted to reach out to people using the Miss LSU platform to promote values that are important to her.

She hopes to gain an understanding of pageants though this experience, since this will be her first time competing in one. She also hopes to gain a leadership role at LSU that will help her reach out to the community.

Savannah is most looking forward to making friends with all of the other contestants and learning from them as they share this experience. She says, “I can’t wait to learn everyone else’s reasons for entering and the things they hold dear to them that they would like to promote as Miss LSU-USA.”

She would like to use the Miss LSU-USA platform to promote the importance of health and fitness. Most importantly, she says, “to better yourself on the inside and appreciate the things your body can do, not what it looks like.”
