Summer is a senior kinesiology major from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a member of the Physical Theater club which allows students to express themselves artistically using their bodies and minds.

She is the the youngest of seven children and she is the only girl. She has traveled to several countries and she participated in competitive jumping on horseback for three years.

Her hobbies include horseback riding, exercising, and aerial silks. She also loves to travel.
This is Summer’s first time participating in a pageant. She wanted to do the Miss LSU-USA Pageant in order to graduate without any regrets. She says that by participating in the pageant she will “prove to myself and to others that hard work does pay off!”

Through this experience she hopes to gain a never-ending and unforgettable experience along with life-long knowledge that she can take wherever she goes. She says that “Miss LSU-USA will allow me to be a more well-rounded person and aid me in my professional career.”

Summer is looking forward to being on stage with the other girls. “I can’t wait for all of us to show how hard we worked and how beautiful we are!”
She would like to use the Miss LSU-USA platform to bring awareness for safety and health to LSU’s campus. “As Miss LSU-USA I want to allow students a chance to de-stress in a healthy and fun manner.”
