Ali is a sophomore majoring in Communication Disorders from Leesville, Louisiana.
She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and the oldest of six siblings.
In her free time, she enjoys writing for her blog, Ask Ali, dancing, playing softball, working out, attending LSU events, and raising awareness for the non-profit organization, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), with her Kappa Alpha Theta sisters.
Ali wanted to participate in the Miss LSU-USA Pageant after competing in the 2015 Miss Louisiana USA Pageant. There, she met the reigning Miss LSU-USA who told her what an incredible experience the Miss LSU-USA Pageant was, and encouraged her to do it.
When asked what she hopes to gain from this experience, here’s what Ali had to say:
“Recently, I have become intrigued with the stigma on Mental Health. I am ready to share my personal story through not only my blog, Ask Ali, but also through public speaking to share research for methods of coping and decrease the stigma on mental illnesses. Furthermore, I expect to gain new memories, friendships, and the experience of a lifetime becoming an even better ambassador for LSU.”
Beautiful good luck
