2017 Contestant Spotlight: Keighley Kelley

Keighley is a freshman from Covington, Louisiana majoring in Children and Family Studies. She is involved in Be The Match Stem Cell and Marrow Donors and Zeta Tau Alpha.

She started an organization called NOLA Paying it Forward, which sent item donations to the victims of the tornadoes in Oklahoma. She’s now working to being the organization to LSU.

Keighley is proud to say that her grandma is her best friend. She enjoys working out, baking, babysitting, spending time with her sorority sisters, and volunteering.

She wanted to participate in the Miss LSU-USA Pageant to  promote her platform of Suicide Awareness and Education among her peers while making lasting friendships. She also hopes to be an ambassador for her school and community as Miss LSU-USA.
She hopes to gain priceless memories and amazing friendships and grow her involvement in other philanthropic events on campus. She says that “the title of Miss LSU-USA brings so many opportunities to give back to LSU and the Baton Rouge community and the competition for that title inspires me to be the best woman I can be.”

If she is crowned Miss LSU-USA, Keighley is looking forward to the opportunities to give back to her school and community and the connections she would make along the way.
