Courtney is a junior from Gonzales, Louisiana majoring in Psychology and Sociology.

She is an active member of  Phi Sigma Theta Honor Society and Delta Gamma, where she serves on the executive board.
Courtney was born in Germany and loves watching crime shows, teaching swim lessons, coaching local swim teams and cooking.

She wanted to participate in the Miss LSU-USA Pageant because she has always struggled with self confidence and she wanted to push herself out of her comfort zone by trying something new. She hopes to gain more self confidence and a sense of price from doing something that she never thought she would do! Courtney is also looking forward to making new friends throughout this process.

Courtney wants to use the Miss LSU-USA platform to promote eating disorder awareness. She says that “1 in 23 woman with an eating disorder pass away due to their disease. It is so stigmatized but it affects so many men and women especially in the pageant world too. This year I helped organized the Baton Rouge National Eating Disorder Association walk and it was amazing. I would love to be able to promote self-love and positive body image through Miss LSU because everyone needs to know that they are beautiful.”
