Throwback Thursday: Miss LSU-USA 2002, Courtney Tatman Waguespack

Courtney Tatman Waguespack reigned as Miss LSU USA in 2002. It was an incredible year for Courtney and the highlights definitely included receiving 4thrunner-up at the Miss Louisiana USA pageant. She loved reading to children in the student union on game days and her favorite game day was when she had the honor of being presented on the field prior to a home game. The memories of being Miss LSU will always live on in her heart, as it was so special to represent LSU!

Courtney graduated from LSU in 2004 in secondary education with a concentration in English. After a year of teaching, she went to work for the Louisiana Restaurant Association, where she still works today. Courtney worked as one of the LRA lobbyist and also in sales for the several years. Today she works on event planning and fundraising for the LRA, and covers Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Houma, and Lake Charles.

Courtney is married to Jacob Waguespack, who is partner and Faulk and Winkler LLC. The couple has three sons, Jake who is 6, Carter who is 3, and Brooks is 1.

Courtney and her husband Jacob still attend LSU games and they love cheering on the tigers!
