I hope everyone enjoyed their week, but no worries if you didn't, there's a lot of exciting things to look forward to this week!

On Friday, it's Fall Fest! Mike the Tiger and I will be appearing at this year's Fall Fest on the Parade Grounds at 12:30 p.m. to talk about Ring Day. But let's be honest, we are all just really excited about the free food... and cheering on our Tigers this weekend as they play Michigan!

It is also Family Weekend this weekend, so bring out your parents and join us on the Parade Grounds for the Family Weekend Tailgate!!

Now on to the real fun...

It's crunch time for me as I prepare for Miss Louisiana USA... October 23rd & 24th are right around the corner! Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com! I cannot wait to represent our beautiful university as I compete for my dream title.

One of the most important parts of the competition is interview portion. If you are going to represent the state the judges want to know more about your personality, goals and how you plan to represent the state of Louisiana.

If you would like to help me prepare, comment with a question that YOU would ask if YOU were the judge!

This brings me to this week's Weekly Challenge: Do something spontaneous! Whether it's doing something that you've never tried before, walking into a building that you pass by everyday but have never entered, or attending a random band's gig ... Just do it! You never know who you will meet or what you will experience!
