A message from Miss LSU-USA 2015,

Hi Guys!

I’m so excited to get started on my new blog to keep everyone updated on all of the wondering things going on around campus as well as my journey to Miss Louisiana USA!

First off, I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe first game day in Death Valley!  It’s so amazing to have the opportunity to represent a school that is so spirited as ours.  Not only am I able to represent our school on a day-to-day basis, but I also get to represent LSU at the Miss Louisiana USA pageant in October!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Miss Louisiana USA, it is a prelim to Miss USA! The competition includes interview, swimsuit, evening gown, as well as an onstage question if I were to make the Top 5.  In order to prepare for this pageant, it takes a lot of hard work.  Not only have I been working with my trainer five days a week, but I’ve been on a very strict diet plan to insure that I’m in tip top shape!  Another way to prepare for the pageant is making sure that I am up to date with all of the current events happening in our state, country and world!

Before I head off to Lafayette to compete for Miss Louisiana USA, I fly out to New York Fashion Week to model for the designer JOVANI.  I was honored to be chosen in the top 12 of the semi-finalists to embark on this amazing adventure.  I take off on the 16th of September and return on the 21st!

To stay in the loop on all of things that I’m doing during my reign, like my Facebook Page: Miss LSU-USA and follow me on Instagram: @ashleybarbier @misslsuusa !

Stay tuned for my next blog! And Geaux Tigers!

Fun Fact: I can make my stomach growl whenever I want to! #talent
